Defender Adam Eckersley has agreed to a temporary move to Port Vale whilst midfielder Lee Martin has been loaned to Plymouth for three months.

Bryan Robson has turned to Sir Alex Ferguson for help in a bid to rescue Sheffield United’s faltering season.
