Park: Longer Lay Off?…
Doubt surrounds the timing of Park Ji Sung’s return from injury.
Park is out of action whilst he recovers from knee surgery. Sir Alex told reporters that he expected the Korean to return by December or January 2008.
However, according to the Times, South Korea’s national coach, Pim Verbeek, said Park could need a longer lay-off.
“From what I have heard his knee is not in a good condition for a 26-year-old football player,” said Verbeek. “To save his career it’s probably better for him to take more time to recover.”
