Midfielder Park Ji-Sung is out of football until next year, Sir Alex has confirmed.
“He will not be available until December or January,” United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told the BBC as the club’s pre-season tour of the Far East began.
“It is very disappointing news but hopefully we have the squad to cover injuries this year.”
