Giggs: Goodbye To Wales

Winger Ryan Giggs is to put club before country by quitting international football.

Giggs, who won his 9th Premiership medal last season, has only made 64 appearances for Wales during a glittering 16 years at Old Trafford, provoking anger that he picked his matches.

Now he plans to retire to concentrate on his United career. Giggs needs just 43 first team games to equal Sir Bobby Charlton’s club record of 759 United appearances.
