Dopey winger Chris Eagles has treated his neighbour to designer goods worth thousands of pounds after having them delivered to the wrong address.
According to the Sun newspaper, Eagles forgot the address of his new home and must now beg his neighbour to return a television, a sofa and other items.
United reserve-team coach Brian McClair said: “Chris needed a few essential items for his new abode, so went out shopping.
“However, his pool table, widescreen TV, leather sofa, dartboard and hairdryer were all delivered to a neighbour who is, unsurprisingly, not too keen to return his unexpected freebies!”
